About the role

Alternative Utility Services Sales Agents are responsible for selling the Alternative Utility Services benchmarking and analysis solution to mid-sized ($10M – $100M) companies and institutions across their local geographic region.

In this role, you’ll get to:

  • Run a full sales cycle and close new business to consistently achieve quota
  • Become intimately familiar with a full suite of energy solutions
  • Inspire prospective customers to adopt Alternative Utility Services’ energy benchmarking and analysis solution
  • Build relationships with prospects and their internal stakeholders to cultivate new and ongoing business
  • Work collaboratively with the internal marketing and support departments to execute sales strategy
  • Bring your thinking, experience, and ideas to help grow our company’s values, culture, and our vision for the future

You will need to have:

  • Experience running a full sales cycle and closing new business on your own
  • Excellent consultative sales skills with the capacity to effectively help prospects see the value in a solution
  • Accurate forecasting with effective pipeline management
  • Evidence that you are a consistent producer in your current role
  • A sharp focus on your professional goals coupled with a belief that your daily activities are key to help you achieve them
