For twenty years, Larry Kauf has been a constant in the energy industry. As a Cost Containment, Intl. Energy Consultant, Larry was there when New Jersey first deregulated for Natural Gas in 1993. Today, he has experience in over 30 states plus Canada, and has worked with over 80 utilities. With a specialty in Natural Gas, Larry has successfully expanded his service to include 16 states for deregulated electricity, as well.

Though based out of Little Elm, Texas, there is nothing ‘little’ about Larry’s reach and scope of knowledge. As an AUS Senior Analyst, his national presence provides an understanding of multiple utilities, providers, products and solutions. His hands-on perspective provides clients with a contract performance based analysis; reviewing current strategy and how well it’s performing, and looking at new opportunities for savings and energy efficiency.

“By joining AUS, I can provide my clients with additional energy saving tools like Reverse Auctions, Demand Response, Energy Efficiency Projects – all additions to my portfolio of opportunities,” said Larry. “I’m especially excited with the new AUS Capacity Management Service and have a few clients in mind that will really benefit by looking at capacity.”
